We have been aware that there has been a demand for a greater presence in the Suffolk area. This significant acquisition of Imorex, based out of Felixstowe gives us another strategically placed depot, mere minutes from the port of Felixstowe.
This is our third acquisition in 18 months and is the final part of the puzzle, we wanted to ensure we could operate our LCL products from Port Centric locations in Felixstowe, London, Southampton, and Manchester offering the most efficient and quickest services across all major ports. These strategic Depots allow further development of our FCL product.
We look forward to building strong working relationships and enhancing the customer experience for new and existing customers and want to reassure existing customers of a seamless transition as Imorex operations team will be transferring over to Youngs. We would like to give a warm welcome to the IMOREX office team, drivers, warehouse and customers to the Youngs Transportation and Logistics group.
